Terms of Service

These terms cover what you get, and what you can reasonably expect, from the Friday waitlist at meetfriday.app, operated by ASTRA TECH SRL, a company registered in Romania (registered office: Strada Poiana 40, Baia Mare, Maramureș County, Romania). Friday has not yet launched as a product, so these terms are intentionally short — they apply only to the pre-launch experience. A separate end-user license will govern the software once it ships in Q2 2026.

1. Acceptance of terms

By submitting your email on the Friday landing page, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not join the waitlist.

3. What we will offer at launch

At launch (target Q2 2026), Friday will be released as a native macOS application on a Bring Your Own Keys (BYOK) model: you connect your own accounts with upstream AI providers (for example Anthropic, Google, Soniox, ElevenLabs), and Friday uses those keys locally. Pricing, feature set, and the specific end-user license for the app will be published on the Friday website at launch. These waitlist terms do not govern the app itself.

4. Eligibility

The Friday waitlist is intended for people aged 16 or older. By submitting your email you confirm that you meet this minimum age. If we discover that a waitlist subscriber is under 16, we will delete the record.

5. Your email and your responsibility

You are responsible for the email address you submit: keep it accurate, make sure you are authorised to receive messages at it, and update or unsubscribe when needed. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email hi@meetfriday.app at any time to remove yourself.

6. Intellectual property

The founder playbook PDFs, landing page copy, visuals, and brand assets are the intellectual property of Friday and are protected under copyright law. You may read, save and use the playbook privately. You may not republish it, redistribute it, resell it, or present it as your own work. Quoting short excerpts with attribution is fine.

7. No warranties

The waitlist and founder playbooks are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are actively building Friday, but we cannot guarantee that the launch will happen on any specific date, at any specific price, or with any specific feature set. Roadmaps shift. Being on the waitlist is not a purchase, a reservation, or a contract to deliver a product.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Friday’s total liability for anything related to the waitlist, the founder playbooks, or the pre-launch communications is limited to zero — since the service is free, non-commercial and pre-product. We are not liable for delays in launch, changes in pricing, changes in scope, or consequences of acting on information contained in the playbooks. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or statutory consumer rights.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or a jurisdiction with mandatory local consumer protections, those protections apply in addition and you may also bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the project evolves. When we do, we revise the date at the top. If the change is material, we will notify waitlist subscribers by email before it takes effect.
